We're RJIT's Aviation Club. We are a student run group which aims to explore applications in UAV based systems and also teach members of the RJIT community the necessary hands-on engineering skills involved in building unmanned aerial systems (UAV).
We are a group of aviation enthusiasts at RJIT, exploring drones, aircraft design, and everything that flies.
We write code, prototype electronics, and machine parts to build quadcopters for remote-controlled and
autonomous flight in indoor and outdoor environments.
More specifically, our projects span three domains:
Application (R&D): Projects involving unique application of exisitng technologies and research and development of new systems related to UAVs.
Community : Community focued projects aimed to be educational in nature.
Design : We build the body and electronics of the UAV. From designing and assembling the frame, to mounting motors and ESCs, to wiring electronics and sensors, to performing calibrations and flight tests.
We conduct workshops, build drones, participate in competitions, and share knowledge to advance aviation technologies.
